Our tweet up tonight took place at the British Banker's Club. Kind of appropriate for a town living on loads and loads of VC cash.

Really cool people stopped by to chat about good times, bad times, gossip and technology. Plaid love was shared (through swag and free drinks), contact info was exchanged, and potato chips were eaten.

We met Brian Shaler, Ryan Kuder, Shel Israel, JJ and a bunch of other really cool people.

We snapped some pics and then hit the road for a long drive to San Luis Obispo. Thanks to the Social Media Club for setting this up and making it all happen!

A friend in Los Angeles says that Peets is the bomb. So Peets it is for our Los Angeles TweetUp, too!

Our 2008 tour buttons have been designed. Pretty much anything with a surfboard on it rocks, so these rock extra hard. Design by David Dellinger (nice job, David!!)

The real Plaid van won't have a surfboard on top. Although what happens on tour...nobody can really predict.

We'll be giving these away to everyone we meet along the way. Friends, internet workers, mayors, California Highway Patrol officers, and whoever else we get to meet.

Our second tour shirt for the '08 tour is complete. Design was done by David (the intern.) We'll be sending these off for production later today.

These are sooo going to rock the west coast, that we'll probably cause a quake, and the entire left side of our country will break off and float into the Pacific, to create our own PlaidNation.

Tour swag is starting to arrive at the office, as our departure date nears. The latest cool box of swag? Plaid motel keychains! These are just some of the goodies that we'll have to give fun people that we meet along the way.

If you meet any members of the Plaid Tour team, and they attempt to give you the key to their motel room, rest assured that it's only in the spirit of Plaid love, and self promotion.
